He was a former Indian cricketer and an aggressive opening batsman who played a significant role in India’s cricket during the 1980s. Srikkanth’s fearless approach at the crease and his ability to take on fast bowlers made him a crowd favorite.

Kris Srikkanth made his international debut on August 18, 1981, and quickly established himself as one of India’s most attacking batsmen at the top of the order. He played a key role in India’s triumph in the 1983 Cricket World Cup, where his explosive batting provided great starts to the team.
