Biography: Wasim Akram, born on 3rd June 1966 in Lahore, Pakistan, is widely regarded as one of the greatest fast bowlers in the history of cricket. Akram’s career spanned from 1984 to 2003, where he showcased his mastery in both swing and seam bowling.

Akram’s left-arm fast bowling was renowned for its pace, swing, and variation, making him a nightmare for batsmen to face. Alongside his bowling prowess, he was also a handy left-handed batsman who contributed crucial runs for Pakistan.

In his illustrious career, Akram played 104 Test matches, 356 ODIs, and 1 T20 for Pakistan. He was a key figure in Pakistan’s World Cup triumph in 1992 and played an instrumental role in the team’s success.
