Biography: Shahid Afridi, born on 1st March 1980 in Khyber Agency, Pakistan, is one of cricket’s most explosive all-rounders. Nicknamed “Boom Boom Afridi,” he is known for his aggressive batting style and effective leg-spin bowling.

Afridi made his debut for Pakistan in 1996 and went on to become a cricketing sensation. His impactful hitting and ability to take wickets made him a match-winner for the team. Afridi played 398 ODIs, 27 Tests, and 99 T20Is for Pakistan.

In his career, Afridi scored 6 centuries in ODIs and 2 in Tests, along with 39 ODI half-centuries, 4 Test half-centuries, and 5 T20I half-centuries. He faced 27 ducks in ODIs, 5 in Tests, and 8 in T20Is.

Afridi’s penchant for attacking cricket led to a couple of nervous nineties in ODIs.

As a bowler, Afridi was equally impactful, taking 395 wickets in ODIs, 48 in Tests, and 98 in T20Is. His leg spin was a potent weapon in all formats of the game.

He also served as the captain of the Pakistan team, leading them in 218 ODIs, 3 Tests, and 39 T20Is.

Afridi was often awarded the “Man of the Match” for his exceptional performances, with 32 in ODIs, 3 in Tests, and 9 in T20Is.

Brand Endorsements: Shahid Afridi’s popularity and on-field charisma made him a sought-after personality for brand endorsements. His explosive batting style and match-winning abilities made him a favorite among fans and commercial brands alike. While I do not have access to specific details of his brand endorsements beyond September 2021, it is evident that his association with reputable brands further solidified his status as a cricketing superstar and a commercial icon.
