Mahendra Singh Dhoni, popularly known as MS Dhoni, was born on July 7, 1981, in Ranchi, Jharkhand, India. He is a legendary cricketer and one of India’s most successful captains. Dhoni was a right-handed batsman and a wicketkeeper-batsman, known for his cool and composed demeanor on the field, earning him the nickname “Captain Cool.”

Dhoni made his Test debut for India on December 2, 2004, against Sri Lanka. He played his first ODI on December 23, 2004, against Bangladesh, and his first T20I on December 1, 2006, against South Africa.
