Ajay Jadeja, born on February 1, 1971, in Jamnagar, Gujarat, India, is a former Indian cricketer known for his aggressive batting style and useful contributions as an all-rounder. He was a right-handed batsman and also bowled part-time right-arm off-spin.

Jadeja made his Test debut for India on February 25, 1992, against Sri Lanka, and his ODI debut on October 25, 1992, against Sri Lanka. He was one of the key players in the Indian cricket team during the 1990s and was known for his attacking approach with the bat.

Throughout his international career, Ajay Jadeja played 15 Test matches and 196 ODIs for India. He scored two centuries and five half-centuries in Tests, and four centuries and thirty half-centuries in ODIs.
